Windows 8 Computer Operating System Review

New look, new feel, new Windows

Windows 8 home screen. Microsoft has made a lot of changes to how the new Windows 8 operating system works, and in this article I review Windows 8 to see if those changes were worth the risk. I was able to test out Windows 8 on the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11s laptop computer for 30 days, courtesy of the Lenovo company.

The first few things you will notice once you start your computer up is that the Start button has now been removed and replaced with a new Start menu screen that shows all of your APPS, programs, and games, and it now has quick tabs and drop down menus to navigate the screen. Think of this new Windows Start menu as your Android or iPhone’s main APP menu.

Xbox One First Impressions

Xbox menu compared to Xbox One First of all, I want to say that I am not hating on the Xbox One or Microsoft, I am simply telling about how it works. Second, yes I know there are a lot of articles out there like this but it is important that people read these articles because it helps them make a decision on whether they should buy the product or not. So with that said, let’s get on with the article.

My brother received a brand new Xbox One for work and hooked it up, but he didn’t want to play it at the time so he suggested that my younger brother and I play instead to test it out. So in this article, I tell my thoughts about the Xbox One and the Kinect based on my personal experience I have had with the new gaming console ever since it launched.
